Thanks for visiting and for your interest in participating in this exciting new program, being piloted by volunteers around the globe from September through November, with the official launch planned for January, 2020.

“TED Circles is an open platform of small groups that meet for conversations about ideas. It’s a new TED initiative where hosts invite friends, neighbors, strangers, or a mix – many who’ve never attended TED or TEDx events – to discuss a variety of interesting topics. TED is running a pilot from September through November 2019 in order to shape the official launch in January 2020. It’s a great chance to learn new things and meet new people so I’m seeking new people to ensure we have a variety of voices included in this conversation!”

Our next TED Circle will be at Root Center for Yoga and Sacred Studies in Colorado Springs on Wednesday, October 30th from 11:30-1:15.

We’ll open this interactive event with a 30-minute yoga and meditation session led by Certified Yoga Teacher, Adam Williams of Humanitou. (Your optional donation will support Root Center for Yoga & Sacred Studies for providing space for our TED Circle.)

Then, we’ll take a 15-minute break to switch gears and enjoy food/snacks (BYO please) and get the projector ready. Around 12:15 we’ll watch a TED Talk together, focused on the October TED Circles theme, “How to be a better human,” followed by discussion facilitated by Becca Williams of Thought Distillery.

Come for one or both parts.
